- Manage system availability, health and service levels of cloud-native applications running in AWS
- Proactively monitor metrics and performance of applications and cloud infrastructure
- Ensure that response plans, tools, and procedures are updated and validated
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents that affect the availability, performance or security of our systems
- Implement and automate best practices for system configuration, backup, recovery, patching, scaling and security
- Participate in on-call rotation for resolution of issues in a 24x7 cloud environment
- Develop and maintain runbooks and data-driven automated processes and tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud operations and infrastructure management, DevOps, SRE
- 3+ years in incident response and major incident management
- Expert in tools and procedures to detect and respond to cybersecurity vulnerabilities
- Expert in infrastructure and application monitoring and logging tools
- Expert in the management of secrets and access controls
- Experienced in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experienced with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools. (e.g, Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience in version control, CI and automation tools such as GitLab, Jenkins
- Experience configuring, and troubleshooting Database technologies
