    Job Description

    Job DescriptionGrowing distribution center located in the City of Orange, CA is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to add to their team. This is a full time, permanent position with an established ecommerce company. Excellent compensation and benefits package.

    OVERVIEW:
    • Lead all warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and fleet delivery.
    • Set goals and work with employees to develop Performance Improvement Plans and Individual Development Plans.
    • Implement WMS system and find ways to improve it.
    • Share WMS best practices with all departments to simplify systems and reduce wastefulness.
    • Use a continuous improvement mindset to streamline and reduce waste.
    • Analyze process workflow, staffing, and space to lead continuous improvement projects.
    • Hold managers accountable for meeting operational goals.
    • Ensure that all company safety policies and operational SOPs are followed. Monitor processes to measure goals, track labor savings, increase productivity, standardize KPIs, and create sustainable financial results.
    • Use lean, and six sigma tools to eliminate safety hazards, improve customer service, and reduce costs.
    • Set an example of integrity, fun, respect, ownership, and professionalism.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to work onsite daily in Orange, CA.
    • Bachelor's degree AND 7+ years Warehouse Management (or equivalent education and experience).
    • Strong experience using WMS (Red Prairie/Blue Yonder/JD Edwards) in an ecommerce setting.
    • Experience using MS Excel for reporting purposes.
    • Well versed in Lean Methodologies as well as KPI driven environments for continuous improvement purposes.
    • Effective listening skills are crucial to understand and troubleshoot bottlenecks and issues that arise on the production floor.
    • Positive leadership to motivate and encourage team morale
    • Strong analytical skills needed to enhance company safety policies/procedures along with operational SOPs.
    Salary Range: $100-125k/yr. Depending on experience level
