SUMMARY
The Epic Practice Director is responsible for the development and growth of the Epic consulting services practice. Travel is expected and required to fulfill the requirements of this role.
Specific Responsibilities:
The Director of Consulting Services for the Epic Service Line is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of Epic implementation, optimization, and support services.
This individual will oversee a team of consulting professionals and leaders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that align with client needs and company objectives.
The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of healthcare IT, specifically Epic, who can drive business growth and maintain excellent client relationships.
Service Line LeadershipDevelop and execute the strategic plan for the Epic service line, aligning with the overall company strategy.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic solutions, industry trends, and best practices to ensure services are innovative and competitive.
Client Engagement:
Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the service line meets or exceeds their expectations.
Team Management:
Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of skilled Epic consultants, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews, provide mentorship, and develop training programs to enhance team capabilities and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Financial Management:
Manage the service line's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability targets are met.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery, client satisfaction, and financial health.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure that all services delivered adhere to our standards, regulatory requirements, and client agreements.
Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high service standards and continuous improvement.
Market Development:
Work with colleagues, sales, and marketing to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the service line's market presence and revenue streams.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the Epic service line, develop marketing materials, and participate in industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Extensive experience in healthcare IT consulting, with a strong focus on Epic systems.
Proven leadership and management experience in a consulting environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage large-scale projects.
Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Certification in Epic modules is highly desirable.
