    We are a not-for-profit healthcare organization with 15+ locations throughout Pinellas County FLGeneral DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Nursing within Family Practice will oversee and lead the administrative and daily operations at all Evara Health Family Practice locations.

    In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Evara's standards, as well as federal, state and local regulations all while fostering evidence-based outcome management practices.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Collaborates with Center Leaders in the selection of staff, staff scheduling, evaluations, corrective action processes, discharge, reward, and recognitionEnsures the highest quality of comprehensive health care is provided at the lowest costParticipates in the Quality Assurance Committee, ensuring all actions to improve are in congruence with the recommendations of the Board of DirectorsReviews all reports/documentation of center activities and operationsCollaborates with clinical leaders and/or the Executive Director of Nursing and the Facilities Director in the selection and safety of all clinical equipmentParticipates/reviews all emergency drills, including fire and hurricane drillsMeets with medical providers, the Chief Medical Officer, and the Executive Director of Nursing, to address clinical issues/processesEnsures ongoing staff development, education and training are provided and evaluated for efficacyStrong lines of communication developed with providers, staff, management, vendors, and patients; demonstrates exceptional customer service skills consistent with Evara standardsRepresents Evara professionally at all internal, external and meetings and presentationAll required reports and documentation are submitted timely and accuratelyEnsures that all Centers are adhering to all HIPAA, HRSA, Evara, accreditation agency, state and federal rules and regulationsMitigates risk to Evara by identifying potential problems, thorough investigation of any occurrences, and implementation of corrective actions, as warrantedAssist the medical team in the development implementation and revision of infection control policies and procedures; monitoring infectious diseases among staff and patients; initiating isolation procedures, as neededRequires travel to all Evara locationsPerforms duties related to PCMH as the Transformation LeadOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience: BSN degree required; Master's degree preferred in a related area of assignment and/or four years of related experienceMinimum (5) years management experience in a medical or related field requiredActive and unencumbered nursing license in the State of FloridaCurrent BLS certificationThese essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties assigned.
