    Description


    TelevisaUnivision Management Company in Teaneck, NJ seeks a full-time Master Data Management (MDM) Technical Manager to study company's current computer and software systems to design ways to improve efficiency, consistency and quality of key data assets, such as product and customer data (Master Data Management (MDM)).

    Plan and design MDM software projects- including enterprise to enterprise (E2E)- that will provide accurate, timely information pulled from various data sources.

    Strategize and lead cloud migration for MDM and related tools. Coordinate MDM activities for the Customer and Product data domains. Conduct source system analysis and data profiling for lifecycle management.

    Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of an MDM software platform.

    Thorough understanding of deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies and master data hierarchy management.

    Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture teams (application, data integration, data architecture, Database management services and business intelligence) to develop and deliver MDM solutions.

    Work with Architecture Review Board and Change Approval Board for technical reviews and approvals through the system development life-cycle. Deliver services that meet internal key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer service level agreements (SLAs). Lead MDM process, directing MDM team and leads directly.

    Work closely with all levels of the organization including presenting to an Executive Level audience to educate the business on Master Data issues and opportunities, and establishing the master data quality metrics and targets.

    Work extensively with business unit representatives across various lines of business, and IT to set strategic master data direction that will enable strategy and ensure master data aligns with overall BU objectives.

    Manage stage gate process for new master data or changes to master data to ensure compliance with policy and drive continuous improvement.

    Implement and improve MDM policies and procedures in alignment with enterprise information management policies to focus on operational efficiencies through data quality and standardization.


    Master's degree or equivalent in Computer, Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the occupation or as an information manager.

    Will also accept a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer, Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the occupation or as an information manager.

    Must be well versed in Informatica technology.
