    Description

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a motivated Transactional Paralegal to join a medium-sized law firm in Boston. As a Transaction Paralegal, your main role will be to support lawyers in the Transaction Group. You may also be called upon to assist the Administrative Team with various office tasks. This position offers a mix of office and remote work, with three days in the office and two days working from home (you get to choose which days).

    Location: Boston, MA - hybrid

    Hours: 9AM - 5PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Interact with vendors, external attorneys, and clients; address inquiries and requests
    • Conduct research on corporate entity status across different jurisdictions; access and review documents on various Registry of Deeds/Land Court websites
    • Analyze documents and perform due diligence to ensure compliance with lender requirements and closings
    • Evaluate title exams, commitments, and policies for real estate transactions; summarize findings for attorney review
    • Obtain UCC, tax lien, and litigation search results; summarize findings for attorney review
    • Prepare and file UCC financing statements in relevant locations
    • Assist in preparing documents for attorney review relating to transactions, loan closings, and corporate matters in commercial loan facilities, affordable housing deals, and real estate transactions
    • Help with loan closings and organize document binders and shared file sites; perform post-closing due diligence

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's degree is a must; a Paralegal Certificate or higher education is a plus
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial finance, preferably in a law firm setting
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and Outlook
    • Proficiency in using legal, USPTO, and other government electronic filing systems
    • Keen eye for detail and good organizational skills
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
    • Aptitude for working independently and collaboratively in a team

    The starting salary range for this position is $75,000 and will be based on your experience.
