    Description

    Structured Cabling Senior Project Manager(s) needed for contract role with at locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan - open to W2 or c2c arrangement. 1 year duration to start with extensions.

    Responsibilities:

    Design and implement hospital build-out projects for clinical and non-clinical space, technology rooms, such as IDF's and BDF's and telecommunications pathways

    Design and prepare the layout of floor plans, riser diagrams, schedules, specification notes and details with special emphasis on Structured Cabling

    Liaison with data connectivity support to receive patching schedules and requests

    Liaison with Telecom Department to design POE's

    Create RFP's and bid packages for Low Voltage Cable Contractors and IT Design Engineers

    Level bids

    Review proposals and process paperwork for approval

    Manage the construction and buildout of the technology spaces, and the low voltage vendors

    Track project budget

    Provide project plans and schedules

    Provide weekly project status

    Skills required:

    5-7 years of HealthCare experience is preferred

    RCDD Certification or willingness to achieve is preferred

    Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others

    Ability to think ahead and plan

    Provide effective problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask

    Must be able to work in fast paced team oriented environment

    Must be willing to travel within the Tri-State area.
