ManagerThe incumbent is expected to utilize the skills necessary to employ these methods and standards to support hospital teams in improvement work and facilitate change to ensure that quality, patient safety, regulatory and accreditation activities support the goals of the Hospital and meet external requirements for continuous accreditation.
This position is based out of our NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital office with possible travel to any of our NYP sites and will be full-time Monday to Friday.
Preferred CriteriaMasters DegreeExperience in working collaboratively with clinical leadershipKnowledge of patient safety field and/or hospital flow and efficiencyKnowledgeable of performance improvement methods, HAC reduction work and quality measurement standardsExperience with Root Cause AnalysisRequired CriteriaBachelor's Degree 3?5 years of healthcare or healthcare related experienceComfort with public speaking and presentation to large groupsProject management experienceFamiliarity with Joint Commission, CMS, and DOH requirements/standards and surveysStrong creativity, communication, problem-solving and analytical skillsJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
