    Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager at Chentronics LLC

    Chentronics LLC, part of Koch Engineering Solutions, is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join our Norwich, NY team. The opportunity is open to both remote and hybrid candidates.

    If you are someone who thrives on building strong relationships with customers and channel partners, we want you on our team. We need a proactive team player who can lead strategic growth initiatives.

    Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ignition and flame safety products in industrial sectors like power generation, petrochemical, refining, pulp & paper, and food & beverage.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Spotting global growth prospects and devising plans to secure new business.
    • Building connections within the industry and with key players like OEMs, end-users, distributors, and value-added resellers.
    • Representing us at industry events to forge new relationships and expand our client base.
    • Gaining expertise in ignition and flame safety applications to educate potential clients on the value we offer.
    • Assisting in crafting customer designs and technical specifications.
    • Understanding the needs, challenges, and expectations of target customers and prospects while staying updated on market conditions.
    • Creating and delivering persuasive sales pitches and proposals to potential clients.
    • Acting as the voice of our customers within the organization.
    • Collaborating with various teams to set priorities and go-to-market strategies.
    • Keeping an eye on industry trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

    Your Background

    Requirements (Basic Qualifications):

    • Prior experience in B2B sales and/or marketing.
    • Experience in selling technical products for industrial applications.
    • Proven track record of building and expanding customer relationships.
    • Strong economic acumen.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

    What Sets You Apart

    • Prior exposure to business development.
    • Familiarity with Chentronics products.
    • Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for learning.
    • Technical knowledge of gas turbines, burners, boilers, and flares.
    • Existing network in power, refinery, petrochemical, and pulp & paper industries.
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM, including reporting.
