Duke Manufacturing Company is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting/Finance team This role offers a hybrid work environment - requiring some dedicated in office work but also the ability to work remotely.

Job Summary:
The AP Clerk supports the day-to-day financial transactions related to Duke's payable accounts.

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expenses and payments and ensures proper financial record-keeping and compliance with company policy.

This role may be a good fit for you if:

You are experienced in an accounts payable or related role.
You are familiar with accounting software; proficient in Microsoft excel.
You have strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and organizational skills.
You are an effective communicator, both written and verbal (polite and professional with customers internally and externally)

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

Obtain and process invoices for payment
Sort and distribute incoming postal mail
Match invoices and research/resolve discrepancies
Prepare freight coding for GL and AP entry
Print and distribute checks, preparing manual checks as needed
Answer and respond to calls and questions
Run reports, verify receipts and process credit memos

Base Qualifications:

HS diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role is preferred
