    District Office Title: Seasonal Product Support Technician

    Purpose: This seasonal position assists in maintaining building technology during the summer. Responsibilities may include setup, maintenance/repair, cleaning, and troubleshooting hardware/software.

    Qualifications:
    1. High School Diploma and or College/Technical School equivalent (preferred).
    2. Basic understanding of technology and a desire to learn about technology (preferred).
    3. Maintains high levels of confidentiality regarding student and staff information and issues.
    4. Technology experience preferred.
    5. Effective oral and written communication skills.
    6. Maintain a high level of customer service
    7. Ability to organize and coordinate tasks assigned..
    8. Ability to follow directions.
    9. Ability to work as a team.
    10. Moderate physical demands.
    11. Ability to establish working relationships with students, teachers, and administrators in a positive, caring manner.
    12. Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation
    Supervisor: Director of Technology

    Performance Responsibilities:
    1. Troubleshoot, fix, clean, and repair district technology, mainly Chromebooks, but not limited to. This may also include:
    • Teacher and student workstations and hardware
    • Labeling and organization of technology
    1. Work with staff to resolve hardware and software difficulties as well as service, setup, and upgrade
    2. Assist staff with special technology projects throughout the summer term
    3. Work as a team with all other technical staff in solving problems and creating additional technology opportunities
    4. Other duties as assigned which are consistent with the general requirements and qualifications for the position
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
    1. Manage job requirements with physical mobility to move from place to place (walking, standing, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, turning, reaching, climbing, balancing, lift to 60 pounds daily), and use large, heavy equipment.
    2. Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors.
    3. Must work in noisy and crowded environments with numerous interruptions.
    4. Must work indoors and outdoors year-round in a variety of temperatures.
    Terms of Employment: This is a temporary summer position. The workweek will be two 40-hour workweeks and could be extended if necessary. Schedules or shifts may be altered depending on the job's critical nature or emergency circumstances. Work hours will be determined as required by conditions. No vacation and sick days allowances are included in District Personnel Policy.
