Our successful dealership is seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for an energized, self-starting individual who can work well in a team and by themselves who shares the same importance of customer service as we do

**Responsibilities:**

Prioritize and assign the daily work in the shop to the team members

Assist in the development of our Technicians and participate in measuring performance, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews

Contribute to and improve upon our safe and positive teamwork environment

Reinforce safe work methods and safety requirements

Assist in the professional development of our Service Writers

Manage the Service repair order process from initiation to invoicing

Effectively coordinate with other company departments

Create repair estimates for customers and the Sales department when required

Directly communicate with customers on larger repair estimates or when additional repairs or changes to the original estimate are needed

Monitor the progress by conducting periodic spot checks of all jobs throughout the day to insure we meet our customers expectations on timeliness and craftsmanship

Ensure the compliance of all Federal, State and local regulations that affect service operations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, EPA, etc.

Understand and ensure that OEM warranty repair procedures are adhered to and the required documentation is created

Make suggestions and recommendations in support of continuous improvement to our processes and overall operations

Complete other projects as assigned by Service Manager

**Qualifications:**

Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record, CDL preferred ( or obtained within 6 months of hire)

Ability to work well in a team environment and effectively manage time

Superior communication and customer service skills

Solid leadership skills

Possess critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to apply sound judgement in decision making

Planning and organizing skills with the ability to re-prioritize as needed

3-5 years prior leadership experience ( Foreman/Assistant Manager) preferred
