- CHS Small Biz Resource Guide Update
- Assist in updating the by identifying local entrepreneurship support organizations to survey, interview, and incorporate into the resource guide.
- Business License Demographic Data Validation
- The student will complete daily data entry and validation during annual business license renewal cycle. This work will support the division's initiative quantifying the presence of minority and women-owned businesses in the city and conducting targeted outreach to those businesses.
- Restaurant Database(s)
- Student will assist West Ashley Coordinator and Business Services Manager in updating a for West Ashley. Potential to start research for James and/or Johns Island databases.
- The student will update the report to reflect accurate information for Q2 2024 as well as exploring additional information to be contained in future iterations of the report. This report is produced by the division utilizing GIS and foot traffic technology to quantify the business diversity present in the central business district of the peninsula, King Street.
- Must be a current college student
- Degrees in Business Administration or Public Administration preferred.
