    Position Summary
    The Activity Coordinator will work with a 281-unit population of Senior and/or disabled residents. Maintains an organized, sanitary environment, and ensures that daily supplies for programs are available.

    Initiates and plans the monthly calendar in conjunction with the Property Manager, as well as communicating effectively with the Social Service Coordinator to collaborate on activities based on resident's needs.

    Responsible for all property activities this includes Bingo, Arts and Crafts, chair exercises, monthly luncheons, community workshops on health, finance or others are provided to generate resident involvement in the community as well as self-enrichment.

    Market and recruit residents to participate in the activities, programs, and services offered by WSH Management and other service providers.


    What we Offer:
    $20.00-$23.00 per hour
    Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401k with employer match
    Paid vacation and 15 paid company holidays
    Full time position, 40 hours per week.

    Job Duties

    The Activity Coordinator maintains an organized, sanitary program environment, and ensure that daily supplies for programs and activities are maintained and organized.

    Initiates and plan the monthly calendar in conjunction with the Property Manager, as well as communicating effectively with the Social service Coordinator to initiate daily programs and activities.

    Responsible for all property activities to include Bingo, Arts and Crafts, chair exercises, monthly luncheons, community workshops on health, finance or other are provided to generate resident involvement in the community as well as self-enrichment.

    Market and recruit residents to participate in the activities, programs, and services offered by WSH Management and other service providers.

    Assist with maintaining compliance with all applicable Affordable Housing programs.

    Qualifications
    A minimum of one-year experience in senior activities or apartment activities experience in senior activities or apartment activities experience or hosting activities in a large group setting a consecutive manner (ex: working with school grade children's, hosting after school activities, hosting leading church functions, volunteering in organizing events)
    Proven effectiveness in program design, implementation, and management of monthly activity planning, including execution of events.
    The ability to effectively relate and interact with people of diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds. Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability.
    Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team and strong oral and written communication skills.

    Competence in operation of telephone, business calculator, copy machine, facsimile, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and MS Outlook and community software.

    High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

    Candidates will be required to pass a background and drug screening (A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you from employment with WSH Management).

    Compensation

    Base Pay Start Rate:
    $23.10 per hour.
