    A rapidly expanding proprietary trading firm, founded and operated with personal investment from its founder, is currently in the process of entering the US market after successful growth in Europe and Dubai. With an estimated capital ranging between $80-100 million, the firm demonstrates substantial financial strength, boasting a workforce of approximately 40 employees.

    The company is actively seeking a Senior Head of Risk to join its team, offering a remote position based in the US. Prospective candidates should possess self-motivation and the ability to tackle challenges independently. Prior experience in risk management within a proprietary trading firm, coupled with an affinity for startup environments, is highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Continuously analyze the firm's and traders' risk to maintain a thorough understanding of potential exposures.
    • Develop and execute innovative solutions to address breaches of risk parameters, particularly for complex positions, ensuring timely and effective risk management.
    • Utilize both fundamental and technical analysis techniques to remain informed about market dynamics, providing valuable insights for risk assessment and decision-making.
    • Maintain regular communication with traders and upper management, furnishing updates on risk assessments and market conditions to facilitate well-informed decision-making.
    • Establish and adjust risk parameters as needed to adapt to evolving market conditions and trading strategies.
    • Oversee the liquidation process for closed accounts, ensuring a smooth and controlled exit strategy aligned with risk management objectives.
    • Collaborate with the IT department to enhance proprietary risk management software, improving its effectiveness and efficiency.
