The Head of Enterprise Risk Management plays a critical role in integrating and maintaining the enterprise risk management framework across the organization's defense lines worldwide.

This position falls under the 2nd line reporting structure to the Chief Risk Officer and closely collaborates with 1st line control teams and 2nd line leadership.

Key responsibilities include enhancing and upholding the Enterprise Risk Management Policy and related risk management standards such as risk identification, assessment, measurement, treatment, monitoring, and reporting. The role also involves leading central policy and committee teams, managing taxonomy and rating scales, and setting agendas for global risk committees.

Additionally, the Head of Enterprise Risk Management oversees an independent review of risk management effectiveness across defense lines, providing an annual report to the Global Enterprise Risk Committee and Business Risk Committee of the Board.

Major Duties

Sustain and implement Enterprise Risk Management Policy and standards across defense lines
Maintain risk management lifecycle standards and taxonomy
Oversee the refresh of Risk Appetite Policy and drive aggregate risk profile reporting
Lead risk management professionals and review enterprise risk management effectiveness
Establish agendas for global risk committees and monitor industry trends and regulatory changes

Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required:

Over 20 years of risk management framework experience
Track record in overseeing enterprise risk management at financial institutions
Experience with financial and nonfinancial risk management and regulatory rules
Strong communication skills and ability to manage complex environments
Ability to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders
Degree in management or finance, MBA preferred
