In This Role, You Can Expect To:

  • Develop and maintain IT governance policies and procedures that align with corporate, industry best standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. These policies may cover areas such as data security, AI, access controls, and change management.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure that IT systems and processes remain compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This will involve understanding the scope of systems and assessing compliance.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize ITrelated risks that could impact the organization's operations and develop strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard IT assets and ensure the integrity and reliability of financial and operational data.
  • Implement and maintain IT governance frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL to ensure effective management and oversight of IT processes, resources, and investments.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, security teams, legal counsel, internal audit, corporate risk management, to communicate governance requirements, solicit feedback, and drive consensus on governancerelated decisions and initiatives.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees about their roles and responsibilities regarding IT governance, risk management, and compliance. Foster a culture of accountability and transparency to promote adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of governance processes and controls through performance indicators (KPIs), and regular reviews. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and maturity of IT governance practices.
  • Lead strategy and innovation of the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management product across IT to ensure automation and customer use is successful.

Qualifications
You may be a good fit for our team if you have:

  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, developing risk management strategies, and implementing risk mitigation controls.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards governing IT operations, AI, data protection, privacy, and security.
  • Experience in creating and implementing IT governance policies, procedures, and controls to address organizational needs and regulatory obligations effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to analyze IT governance issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and governance requirements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and build consensus across diverse teams, and refined presentation skills.
