Hospital Risk Manager

Job Summary
The Risk Manager is responsible for the activities associated with patient safety, loss prevention, and risk identification.

This includes occurrence reporting, data review and reporting, associate/medical staff education and making appropriate recommendations to management to help realize optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Healthcare background required

-
"Hands on" Hospital Risk Management experience is a MUST for this position

Knowledge of best practices, including patient safety strategies, best use of resources and best customer service initiatives is essential
Excellent teaching abilities required
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills required
Superior organizational abilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across organizational structure
Ability to analyze problems and act upon them in a manner supportive of organizational policies
Possesses high degree of motivation and ability to deal with people fairly and effectively
Demonstrates quality service orientation

Pay:
$90, $125,000.00 per year
