    Description
  • The Policy Director, CCR will report to the Director of the Center for Community Resilience.
  • In this role the Policy Director, CCR provides strategic policy guidance and is responsible for government affairs coordination that advances the Center's mission and goals with federal, state, and local government levels as well as federal and state agencies.
  • The CCR network comprises more than 15 teams across the country and the Policy Director oversees advocacy strategies and technical assistance to support the national network.
  • Policy Research & Development Works with the Policy Lab team to develop policy briefs based on qualitative and quantitative research from local health departments participating in the Resilience Catalysts in Public Health initiatives.
  • Master's degree (public health policy, public policy preferred).
  • Five years+ of public policy, advocacy, and public health research.
  • Technical expertise, including familiarity working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva and BaseCamp.
  • Criminal History Screening, Education/Degree/Certifications Verification, Social Security Number Trace, and Sex Offender Registry Search
