- Perform room checks and cooler checks to ensure GMP compliance, acceptable environmental conditions, and product quality
- Perform quality assurance inspection tasks to include verification and tracking of correct product ingredients, labels, lot #, code date, net weights, et.
- Review quality records for completion, accuracy, and adherence to internal specifications.
- Help ensure that each product is manufactured according to FDA and USDA regulations including, but not limited to maintaining cooking charts, yields, SSOP, and HACCP records

- Assists the quality team in developing and maintaining procedures and work instructions.
- Work with the team on proactively improving the quality department and production facility.
- Oversees root cause investigations and collaborates on corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintains and accounts for product and raw material holds.
- Oversee plant pest control program and actively work with pest control provider on corrective actions and investigations.
- Provide necessary documentation or knowledge for internal and external audits.
- Supervise evening sanitation procedures and performance
- Fluent in both Spanish and English [preferred biliterate]
