Warehouse Associate/forklift Operator - Tampa, United States - SE Food Supplies

Description

We are looking for a responsible Warehouse Associate-forklift Operator to replenish inventory in the cooler and freezer, load and unload trucks.

You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. A Forklift Operator must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must have adequate physical strength as well as experience operating material handling equipment.


Responsibilities

• Load and Unload product from incoming trucks
• Replenish Racking system and properly rotate product in the cooler and freezer
• Operate Material handling equipment (Reach lift, forklift, pallet jack) in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
• Verify product according to their orders (quantity, quality etc.)
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
• Operate a RF Scanner
• Assist the supervisor with any other Operational needs

Skills

• Experience in operating reach lift, forklift, and pallet jack
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Solid understanding of safety regulations
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Keen eye for detail
• Good physical condition
• High school diploma

Hours are 10AM - 6PM

5 Day Schedule and need to work Saturdays with Sundays off and one other day at the supervisor's discretion


Pay:
$17.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (required)

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (required)
