    Description

    Medical Customer Service Representative

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle inbound calls from patients professionally and politely
    • Support patients with registration, setting appointments, referrals, and pre-authorizations
    • Address and escalate complex patient issues to relevant departments or supervisors
    • Initiate outbound calls to follow up on patient queries or resolve concerns
    • Maintain precise and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
    • Achieve or surpass performance targets for call volume, response time, and customer satisfaction

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma or GED is a must
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical customer service
    • Familiarity with basic medical terminology, computer skills, and EMR
    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Effective active listening skills with the ability to show empathy and address customer problems
    • Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
    • Proficiency in fundamental computer skills and knowledge of CRM software

    Job Details:

    • Full-time position: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
    • Compensation: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
    • Job Type: 4 weeks of onsite training followed by a remote role
