    Description

    Job Title: Property Management Assistant at MidPen Housing Corp.

    • **ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:
      • Organizes income verification appointments, processes lease agreements, and manages housing waitlist
      • Assists in re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, MOR and TCAC reviews
      • Issues notices, schedules vacancies, and monitors turnover forms
      • Collects rents, handles security deposits, logs petty cash use, and prepares bank deposits
      • Identifies maintenance and security issues during property inspections
      • Supports relationships with law enforcement and emergency agencies
      • Coordinates maintenance inspections and ensures timely work order processing
      • Maintains confidential resident and property files
      • Communicates emergency preparedness procedures to residents
      • Performs other assigned duties

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

    • **Education and Experience**:
      • High School diploma or GED
      • Minimum of one year in residential property management, customer service, or administrative role
      • Proficiency in MS Office and/or RealPage software system
    • **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Customer service-oriented with a focus on achieving results
      • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
      • Well-organized and detail-oriented
      • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
      • Alignment with the Mission and Values of MidPen Services and MidPen Housing
    • **Physical Requirements**:
      • Desk-based computer tasks, sitting frequently
      • Occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 15 pounds, reaching, grasping, and using telephone
      • Rarely stooping, squatting, kneeling, or crawling
