    Job Description

    Position Summary The project control's role in the Midwest region involves collaborating with various stakeholders to prepare, update, and review design and construction schedules in Primavera P6 and forecast cost projections. The ideal candidate will review change orders, gather project information, and ensure accurate project progress representation. In this role, the successful candidate will:
    • Coordinate with contractors and the project team to establish a realistic baseline schedule.
    • Conduct planning sessions with the team for new contractors or significant deviations from the baseline.
    • Ensure all project disciplines are appropriately defined in detail.
    • Integrate cost control accounts and configure schedules for cost management.
    • Analyze project progress data against key performance indicators.
    • Maintain communication with contractors and stakeholders to align project goals.
    • Collaborate to forecast FTEs and optimize resource utilization.
    • Identify schedule improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
    Position Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project/construction management, or a related field
    • 10+ years of experience in project controls or management
    • Field experience in Oil & Gas or manufacturing industries preferred.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in the preparation of construction schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM)
    • Relevant construction scheduling experience required.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
    • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, Primavera P6
    Additional RequirementsPhysical: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
