    Vacation accrual increases after the 1st and 4th year of employment, and four weeks of additional paid sabbatical is offered in the 7th year.

    This is a 32-hour per week full-time overtime eligible position, salary and paid time off will be prorated at .8 FTE.


    Overview of Position:
    The Development Coordinator supports Artist Trusts efforts to sustain long-term, meaningful relationships with our donor and member community.

    This position is responsible for the timely recognition and stewardship of donor gifts, maintaining our donor database, administering the Artist Trust Membership program, coordinating corporate giving logistics, and serving as an attentive point of contact for donors.

    Reporting to the Annual Fund & Events Director, this position will serve as a key relationship builder that is highly attuned to details.

    Current work environment:
    Artist Trust maintains a physical office in Seattles Capitol Hill Arts District. Our work happens in artist communities statewide. Artist Trust maintains a hybrid workplace, with staff splitting their time working from home and in our office.

    This position would be ideal for someone in the greater Puget Sound region who can commute to our Capitol Hill, Seattle office 2-3 days per week, as well as travel within the greater Seattle area for meetings and events as needed.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Member Stewardship:

    With the Development Team and Executive Director, develop and implement annual donor stewardship plan including timely gift acknowledgement, donor recognition, impact reports, holiday and thank you card mailings, invitations to special events, personal calls, and other recognition and cultivation efforts.

    Provide excellent customer service to Artist Trusts donor community by phone and e-mail and promptly resolve all donor inquiries.

    Support corporate giving logistics and processes, including tracking secured and pending funding, drafting and securing signed sponsorship agreements, securing logos, and tracking sponsor benefit fulfillment, acknowledgement, and payment in coordination with the finance team.

    Administer the Artist Trust Membership program, including timely email acknowledgement of membership gifts, managing member communications, physically mailing membership cards, sending monthly renewal reminders, acting as the point of contact for Artist Trust Members, and securing and tracking member benefits and discounts.

    Facilitate donor invoicing pledge fulfillment, including annual Board of Trustees giving.


    Database Management:
    Facilitate all gift processing, including recording donations in Salesforce, thanking donors, and sending donor acknowledgements in a timely manner.
    Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of donor contributions, events, and communications.
    Coordinate workplace giving & matching gift processing, recording, and reporting.

    Track multi-year pledges, including entering pledges and tracking payments, issuing payment reminders, and mailing prompt acknowledgement letters and donor impact reports.

    Work with finance team to ensure timely invoicing and payments of sponsorships and pledges, accurate recording of all gifts, and monthly reconciliation.


    Special Events:


    As part of the Development Team, participate in the planning and implementation of the Artist Trust Annual Benefit Art Auction.

    Support procurement of in-kind donations, such as art experiences, to be sold during the auction, and administer tracking.
    Support sponsorship acquisition process, including tracking, outreach, and the development of sponsor recognition and benefits.

    Support all fundraising and cultivation events, including annual Gather event, fundraising salons, presence at Seattle Art Fair and similar cultivation and networking events.


    Organizational Culture, Racial Equity, and Strategy:

    Participate in staff meetings, the Strategic Vision & Stewardship, Auction, and Racial Equity committees, and annual Board and staff retreat, and attend community events.

    Attend meetings, organizational learning sessions, and other opportunities to shape our organizational culture and strategic direction.

    Grow and apply the skills and practices needed to create an inclusive organizational culture including clear and kind communication, giving and receiving feedback, mutual accountability, and self-care and boundaries.

    Collaborate with staff in making strategic decisions.
    Support teams as needed.

    Candidate Qualifications:

    Qualifications:
    Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects, events, and deadlines with attention to detail.
    Confidence using nonprofit donor database systems and CRMs; direct experience with Salesforce a plus.
    Keen attention to detail and high level of concentration to accurately comprehend, identify, and capture key data points.

    Strong communication skills and the ability to be kind and welcoming while representing your area of work to Artist Trusts community, staff and Board.

    Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement in managing daily workload and remain accountable to achieving goals and completing tasks.

    Availability for occasional statewide travel, events, and evening/weekend meetings.
