    We are always looking for great talent to join our award-winning team as we look to the futureLife Care of Kirkland has also gonethrough some very exciting changes over the last few months - one of which is anew Executive Director Come check us outWe are currently hiring for full-time days LPNs are welcome to apply Patient Centered Care is top priority at Life Care of KirklandPosition SummaryThe RN Staff Development Coordinator plans, organizes, develops, and directs all in service education in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

    Education, Experience, and Licensure RequirementsNursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing)Currently licensed/registered in applicable State.

    Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employmentOne (1) year skilled nursing experience preferredTeaching/education experience preferredCPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.

    CPR certification must remain current during employmentSpecific Job RequirementsDesire and ability to effectively train and educate all nursing associates and other associates as applicableExpert knowledge in field of practiceMake independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionKnowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityImplement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentPerform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to:
    patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etcMaintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationUnderstand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingEssential FunctionsPlan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientationMaintain associate training and in service recordsExhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsAssist in the evacuation of patientsDemonstrate dependable, regular attendanceConcentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentCommunicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamSit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hoursRead, write, speak, and understand the English languageAn Equal Opportunity Employer
