    The Role


    We are looking for a Proposal and Business Development Coordinator with two to three years of hands-on experience in proposal development for consulting firms.

    The Proposal and Business Development Coordinator will be part of our growing business development and marketing team, working closely with company leadership, project managers, and other departments to win new work in the Seattle and Portland markets.

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication, writing, deadline management, and multi-tasking skills.

    In addition, they must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a high-level of initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and professionalism.

    Knowledge of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, and the Pacific Northwest region is preferred.
    Desired Qualifications

    Has experience proactively searching for, tracking, and reviewing RFPs/RFQs
    Has strong organizational skills and can create detailed proposal development timelines and outlines
    Is a strong writer who can prepare content for proposals, requests for information, resumes, project descriptions, and other marketing/business development materials
    Can support proposal layout and editing in Word and InDesign
    Excels in their attention to detail and ability to organize and maintain proposal and marketing/business development files
    Can effectively support marketing/business development activities such as planning and tracking conference and event attendance, memberships, and sponsorships
    Can support Business Development Team with tracking and maintaining marketing/business development data, including working with data management and CRM systems
    Is an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with coworkers
    Can work successfully within tight deadlines, independently and as part of a team
    Demonstrates proficiency in Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite
    Brings curiosity, creativity, and innovation to their work
    Approaches work with a learning mindset and actively seeks solutions to challenges and ways to improve, both personally and collectively
    Understands core constructs such as structural racism, equity, justice, internalized oppression, and antiracism, and seeks to continually learn more

    Conditions of Employment

    Occasional local travel to sites/events outside of regular business hours
    Occasional weekend and evening work as we want to meet community members where they are. Our work schedules can be flexible depending on event timing and your preferences
