- Wound Assessment and Management: Utilize advanced wound care techniques and evidence-based protocols to assess, treat, and manage acute and chronic wounds. Perform wound debridement, dressings, offloading techniques, and adjunctive therapies to promote healing and prevent complications.
- Diabetic Foot Care: Provide specialized care for patients with diabetes, including routine foot exams, ulcer prevention education, and management of diabetic foot complications such as neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease, and Charcot foot deformity.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques, diabetic foot self-management strategies, and preventive measures to reduce the risk of foot complications. Provide guidance on footwear selection, skin integrity, and lifestyle modifications to support optimal foot health.
