    Description

    TKO Evolution Apparel Inc., a dynamic and growing group of apparel companies, has an immediate opening in its Men's Sportswear division for an Assistant Merchandiser.

    This position will work out of our New York office, with a hybrid work schedule.

    The prime candidate for this position will be a career-oriented individual interested in assisting with Merchandising & Product Development tasks for our Men's Sportswear division.

    This position will require a strong work ethic and organizational skills and will report directly to our Senior Director of Merchandising.

    Excellent people and computer skills are essential.

    Responsibilities:
    Trim Development – Issue Codes & Follow Up on Delivery

    Assist in Development and Merchandise Planning

    Reach Out to Fabric Mills & Work with Design on Development

    Order & Track Salesman Samples

    Monitor Proto Samples, hand looms, lab-dip approval process

    Style & Sku Plan maintenance for each Season

    Create Line Plans for Tops Categories

    Calendar Adherence

    Assist Sales in Customer Packages

    Showroom Set-up & Maintenance

    Style & Sku Plan maintenance for each Season


    Job Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Merchandising

    1 – 3 years of Merchandising experience

    Strong knowledge of Excel

    Ability to render ideas

    Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach

    Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented, flexible and creative problem solver

    Solid communication skills

    Personal professionalism and accountability
