We are looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join our great team

    The Merchandising Assistant is an entry-level position that supports our merchants in daily operations for both the catalogs and e-commerce. Responsibilities include data entry and data management, and communication between departments and with vendors.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Merchants with daily support in merchandising and buying.
  • Set up new vendors and new items in databases and maintain all data integrity.
  • Request and follow up on product information from vendors in a timely manner.
  • Work with vendors and creative team to provide product images or samples for photography.
  • Maintain copy and photography assets in management systems.
  • Maintain accurate cost and pricing in database.
  • Proof catalog, web site, and emails for accuracy and product availability.
  • Communicate relevant information with cross-functional departments including creative marketing, e-commerce, inventory planning, warehouse, and finance.
  • Work with merchants, marketing and ecommerce to create compelling campaigns.
  • Prepare seasonal reviews and post-mortem documents as requested.
  • Monitor competitor catalogs and web sites and relay pertinent information to merchants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Requirements
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Most be accurate and detail oriented
  • Must possess a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and spread sheet maintenance.
  • Strong telephone, email communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must work well as part of a team and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Must be comfortable with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
