    West Olive, MI - Onsite


    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Solutions Architect to join our team in Ottawa County. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the County with Microsoft 365 (O365) engagements.

    This individual must possess either a Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator certification, Azure Solutions Architect certification, or equivalent certification, along with demonstrated project management experience.


    Solution Design and Implementation:


    Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, plan, and implement Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to the County's needs and requirements.

    This includes but is not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other O365 services.

    Technical Consultation:


    Provide expert guidance and advice on Microsoft cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends to ensure optimal utilization of O365 services and features.


    Project Management:
    Lead and manage O365 implementation projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.

    Migration and Integration:
    Plan and execute migration projects from on-premises systems to Microsoft cloud services. Ensure seamless integration between existing infrastructure and O365 environment while minimizing disruption to business operations.

    Security and Compliance:
    Implement security policies and configurations to protect County data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

    Training and Documentation:


    Develop training materials and conduct workshops for County staff to enhance their understanding and proficiency in utilizing O365 applications and features.

    Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and knowledge sharing.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Stay abreast of the latest Microsoft technologies, updates, and enhancements. Evaluate new features and functionalities and recommend adoption strategies to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.

    Vendor Management:


    Liaise with Microsoft representatives and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues, escalate support tickets, and negotiate service agreements as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator certification, Azure Solutions Architect certification, or equivalent certification required.
    Proven experience in project management, preferably in the implementation of Microsoft cloud solutions.
    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and security/compliance features.
    Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including identity management, networking, and data protection.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
