- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Establish relationships with current and potential clients through proactive outreach and tailored services.
- Follow up on leads to advance the sales process.
- Conduct research on accounts, identify key stakeholders, and stimulate interest.
- Stay updated on competitors and industry trends.
- Understand client needs to promote services, address client expectations, and foster repeat business.
- Collaborate with channel partners to drive deal closures.
- Monitor municipal and state procurement sources for relevant opportunities in architecture, engineering, construction management, and construction.
- Utilize existing and new relationships to secure promising proposal prospects.
- Work closely with the Marketing & Proposal team to optimize proposal schedules and opportunities.
- Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or construction management in the Washington DC Metro Area.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education/experience.
- Technical proficiency in the A/E/C/CM industry.
- Customer-centric approach.
- Ability to set and meet high standards.
- Effective communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in Office 365 tools (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Background in civil engineering, professional services, or consulting.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- PMP Certification or MBA.
