    Description

    Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in a specified region. Staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's vision and values. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in our trading area that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability. Maintain and support key accounts and mentor development of key account management with sales team.

    Requirements

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the performance and development of the Territory Account Managers and ParkerStore Personnel.
    • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to gain new business or penetrate new markets.
    • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses with DFP sales personnel as needed.
    • Maintain contact with customers and support sales staff in our trading areas to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Present and contribute to the development of training programs for employees and current/potential customers.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one review with all sales personnel to build more effective sales and activity performance.
    • Control expenses to meet monthly/yearly budget guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate records of all price increases, sales and activity reports submitted by DFP Product Managers and Account Managers.
    • Ensure that all sales personnel meet or exceed all activity standards for calls, proposals, presentations, and orders.
    • Demonstrate ability to motivate, interact, manage, and cooperate with all sales employees and suppliers' representatives.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 5 or More Years Technical Knowledge/Experience with Hydraulics/Pneumatics preferred
    • Technical Certification, College Degree in Related Field, or Equivalent Experience
    • Proficiency with Computer Based Business Systems
    • Customer-first work ethic
    • Personable and professional attitude
    • Problem solving abilities
    • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
