    Description

Permanent, full-time job ( direct hire ) offering W2 annual salary with full benefits and relocation assistance Job location : on site in Salt Lake City, Utah ( no remote work for non local candidates - relocation required )

    Mechanical CAD Designer ( Mechanical Designer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer ):

    • Create 3D models of components and assemblies
    • Create 2D engineering drawings of parts and assemblies
    • Revision control and maintenance of technical documentation in the PLM system
    • Revise parts, assemblies, and technical drawings in accordance with change control protocol
    • Communicate with suppliers regarding CAD data transfers, model/drawing updates, technical questions, etc

    Qualifications :

    • A technical degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, CAD Drafting, etc
    • Previous experience as a Mechanical CAD Designer, Mechanical Designer / Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Drafter / CAD Drafter, etc
    • Experience with 3D modeling/2D drawing software ( CATIA V5 experience preferred , otherwise AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc )
    • Expertise with PDM / PLM software ( SmarTeam ) is a PLUS Employer offers :
