    Job Summary
    The Electrical Engineer will work with a team of Engineers and Designers focused on projects primarily in design of

    low and medium voltage

    power distribution systems, motor control, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial, port, and manufacturing facilities.

    The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and self-motivated, passionate of the Electrical discipline, and communicative with team members and clients.

    Responsibilities

    Work with local discipline staff in the preparation of plans, specifications, calculations, technical reports, engineering estimates, codes, regulations, and technical matters for professional development.

    Apply a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes, regulations, and standards.
    Model and conduct power system studies and analyses (short circuit, load flow, protective relay coordination and arc flash analysis).
    Interface with key client and project staff in formal, informal and project team meetings.
    Participate in field investigations and provide permit startup and construction support for projects.

    Requirements
    B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of electrical design experience.

    Previous experience in the design of power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial, manufacturing, or chemical process facilities preferred.

    PE required.
    In-depth working knowledge and application of the electrical discipline.
    Strong interpersonal skills.

    Ability to identify, interpret and apply relevant codes and standards to engineering designs, including the NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and non-residential energy codes and standards.

    Proficient in Easy Power or SKM power system modeling, AGi32 or Visual Lighting Software is a plus.
    Demonstrated capability with AutoCAD and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    Ability and willingness to travel to off-site locations and accept client site assignments when required.
    Ability to pass Client badging and screening processes.

    The expected salary range for the position is displayed below. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

    $110,000—$135,000 USD
