Chad King

I am currently a  student at the University of Washington, working through a Mechanical Engineering degree with an Aeronautics & Astronautics minor, and am in my Junior year. I am proficient in hands-on engineering, including CAD designs, prototyping, GD&T, and applied mathematics such as Matlab, Python, and Simulink. I am seeking an internship or position over any period of 2022-2023.

I have worked for nearly three years in a student-run engineering organization participating in the national EcoCAR mobility challenge. The team is working to convert a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer to be both hybrid-electric and capable of automated driving. My work has centered around propulsion systems design and integration. As such, I have had much experience diagnosing and solving system faults, and have worked to prevent and solve further issues with the design of the hybrid-electric system.

I am in my Junior year at the University of Washington and am pursuing Mechanical Engineering degree and have recently begun an Aeronautics and Astronautics minor.
