Our Input Explorations team is a dynamic group of experts from various disciplines working collaboratively to pioneer the next generation of VR interactions.

    Position Summary: We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to the pathfinding and prototyping of novel input devices and feedback mechanisms for future VR devices. As part of our cross-functional team, you will play a key role in designing, assembling, and testing electro-mechanical prototypes while ensuring technical integration feasibility into VR software experiences.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct circuit simulation and design for prototype development.
    • Fabricate, assemble, and test electro-mechanical prototypes.
    • Perform prototype testing, characterization, and debugging.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prototypes into VR software experiences.
    • Communicate project findings and learnings effectively to the broader team.
    • Estimate project timelines and costs accurately.
    • Take initiative to manage individual and team priorities autonomously.

    Skills Required:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a creative approach.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration.
    • Proficiency in schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent tools.
    • Familiarity with electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, VNAs, logic analyzers, etc.).
    • Solid documentation and communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.).
    • Experience in electronics debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
    • Ability to apply electrical theory to engineering projects.
    • Proficiency in computer applications and engineering design software.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
    • 3-5 years of industry experience in electrical engineering.
