    Role description:

    Arcadis is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our design and engineering team in Washington State.

    As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will lead the Electrical discipline of multiple concurrent projects through pursuits, proposal, design, and construction phases. You will be responsible for leading design efforts and serve as the engineer of record. You will also support proposal and business development efforts, working with project teams, other senior and junior engineers, project managers, and clients designing power distribution, lighting, telecom and fire alarm systems on various projects, involving commercial, industrial and municipal / government projects. This role is Based in Seattle WA, however there will be client visits in other locations at times.

    Role accountabilities:
    • Self-motivated and team-oriented with the ability to work both independently and within a team. Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
    • Work with design teams to develop construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination. Design for available capacity, redundancy, reliability, efficiency, and safety, as well as constructability and cost. Inter-discipline knowledge of facility systems. Experience developing solutions to complex projects.
    • Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys, data collection for system studies, system audits and collaboration with clients' team members.
    • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards such as NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC as well as international standards such as IEC, CE, EN. Fluency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, ACC/BIM360, SKM, ETAP, EDSA, Easy Power). Ability to perform various system studies (arc flash, load, short circuit, coordination).
    • Work with designers and other engineers to develop sealed drawings of your designs. Provide mentoring to junior staff and receive mentoring from senior staff.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • 4 or more years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
    • PE Registration
    • Experience with telecom and fire alarm design including prescriptive, performance-based design as well as full detailed design
    • Significant experience leading design teams.
    • Lean design and construction experience.
    • LEED accredited professional / PMP certification.

    Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $81,420 - $122,130.
