Your tasks in Barrington, NJ:

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the operational logistics (goods receipt, production logistics, warehouse, shipping) with approximately 45 employees
  • Planning and coordination of the daily loading program
  • Personnel deployment planning as well as material deployment planning (especially forklifts)
  • Concept and layout planning of available areas
  • Identification of optimization potentials and implementation/initiation of improvement projects
  • Project management or support in the SCM environment

Your profile:

  • Degree (in business administration or a technical field) with a focus on logistics or a comparable education
  • Professional and leadership experience in at least one operational logistics area
  • Solid knowledge in warehouse management & control / loading of trucks / cargo securing
  • Competence in logistics methods & tools (e.g. value stream analysis / PULL / Poka Yoke / etc.)
  • High organizational and planning skills as well as excellent communication and assertiveness
  • Structured and analytical way of working, characterized by a handson mentality
  • Very good ERP knowledge in the SCM environment (ideally SAP WM / SD)
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
