What to expect

You are part of the Data Protection & Compliance team at Mazars Hamburg and perform tasks as a corporate data protection officer for both Mazars Germany and clients
You provide ongoing advice to clients in the areas of compliance and compliancerelated legal fields such as whistleblower protection, money laundering, and data protection. You independently review and assess relevant issues in accordance with applicable guidelines
You are involved in national and international projects with lawyers from our group or network, as well as collaborating with professionals from various business areas, and also handle questions from related fields
You actively work on and optimize existing compliance processes and the compliance management system of clients including organizing and conducting internal compliance training sessions

What you bring

You have successfully completed both state exams with aboveaverage grades; alternatively, you are a graduate in law, master of law, or business law with a completed first state exam
You ideally have initial qualified legal knowledge in the field of data protection law, demonstrated through relevant internships, certificates, or meaningful legal clerkship placements
You have an interest in academic work and publications
You value legal creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, independent action, and teamwork
You have excellent (specialized) German and English language skills, both written and spoken
