    Director of Account Management - Dallas, United States - Allied Stone, Inc.

    SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
    The responsibility of the Director of Account Management is to learn and familiarize oneself with the sales aspects of all Allied Stone products, maintain and expand territories, establish strong customer relationships, and manage account managers

    Essential Functions:
    Manages account managers attendance/job scope/productivity. Understands account processes, builder construction stages, and warranty boundaries to help account managers resolve conflicts. Create a routine schedule for forecast and territory agendas while building partnerships with customer key decision makers.
    Expand new business territories with new sales team through relationship building. Entertains customers in the normal course of business, to aid in negotiations or to show appreciation of business. Responsible for presenting metrics at weekly sales meetings with management team. Communicate with internal department leaders to prevent recurring issues. Maintains market awareness in competitor activities.

    QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):
    Preferred Education:BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred

    Required Experience:
    Experience in the home building industry is required.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Solid knowledge in MS OfficeExcellent multitasking abilityGood verbal and written communication skills.
    Detail oriented.
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.


    Work Environment:
    This position will be performed in an office environment

    Travel Required:
    Travel expected for this position beyond commuting to the office
