    Responsibilities
    • Own the customer experience by establishing trust and building relationships to provide first-line customer service contact for claims reporting activity related to personal lines.
    • Utilize claims call center best practices in all activities, including customer complaint handling and escalation.
    • Verify coverage under various policies or policy provisions based on variances of state, jurisdiction and regulatory requirement.
    • Thoroughly and efficiently handle inquiries from policyholders and claimants.
    • Respond effectively and appropriately to sensitive events and/or situations as needed.
    • Proactively contacts policyholders/claimants for additional information to expedite proper handling of claims. What you'll have:
      • High School Diploma
      • 1+ year of work-related customer service experience; prefer experience in the insurance industry
      • Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, analytical, and computer skills
      • Verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to efficiently navigate and operate personal computer and all related claims/business software ** 100% REMOTE - Variety of schedules available (1st and 2nd shifts) which all include a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Candidates will have the option to choose the schedule that best meets their needs on a first-come, first-served basis. **
