- Simple and complex bridges and culverts
- A wide variety of additional transportation-related structures including retaining walls, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures
- A variety of waterfront structures and dams
- A variety of building and parking garage structures
- Pump stations and ancillary utility authority structures
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering (MS Preferred)
- Candidates must either possess an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey
- NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority experience required
- 5 plus years of fundamental structural design experience
- NHI Certification for Bridge Inspection Courses is preferred, but not required
- Experience working on bridge inspection and design projects is preferred
- Knowledge of CADD (AutoCAD and/or Microstation)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
