    Description
    Our client, an expanding consumer products company, is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

    The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, managing the accounting department, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

    This role includes leading the preparation of financial reports and forecasts to predict future growth.

    Responsibilities:


    Manage the preparation of all financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and reports for government agencies.

    Develop internal governance policies and address external financial influences.
    Analyze financial data to compare sales and profit projections with actual figures, and adjust budgets and forecasts accordingly.
    Evaluate and enhance financial planning processes.
    Identify and implement changes in operations that may require reorganization, downsizing, or discontinuation.
    Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to streamline planning and set strategic priorities.
    Assess long-term economic trends and their potential impact on future company growth, including market share and sales.
    Explore new product areas for potential expansion.
    Partner with the sales department to devise retail strategies and promotions to drive sales growth.
    Oversee the company's investment portfolio and liaise with investment bankers for funding needs related to expansion.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is required.
    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
    A minimum of eight to ten years of experience in financial management. Experience in a related industry preferred.
    Strong management and supervisory capabilities.
    Excellent analytical, organizational, and system skills.
    Proficiency in database management and accounting software.
    Superior written and verbal communication skills.
