    Description

    Since opening in 1952, STATE ELECTRIC SUPPLY CO. has grown into one of the nation's largest and best-known electrical distributors; with hundreds of employees and 40 locations in 7 states. Our customers are serviced by a local team of experienced and knowledgeable employees in each of our branches, with additional support from company-wide resources and specialists.

    We are currently looking for a dynamic PROJECT MANAGER to join the team at our RALEIGH, NClocation.

    The PROJECT MANAGER will be responsible for:

    • Handling all aspects of project coordination for large lighting and gear orders.
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer and vendors once orders are placed.
    • Managing andcoordinating large commercial and industrial project post award.
    • Creating and presenting submittal packages and OEM manuals.
    • Creating and providing shipping schedules and tracking documents.
    • Entering change orders and handling expedite requests between contractors and manufacturers.
    • Negotiating pricing with manufacture and supply quotes to contractors for change orders.
    • Closely coordinating between contractors, manufacturers, manufacturer reps and sales team to ensure material arrives correctly and on time.
    • Handling return goods authorization for defective or damaged material.
    • Coordinating internal deliveries for jobs with stored materials.

    Job Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree or B.Sc. in Business Administration or related fields are typically preferred).
    • Ability to complete company and/or industry specific training in-house.
