    Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

    Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified

    Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

    with 10+ years plus experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

    You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

    Responsibilities:


    A Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for monitoring, automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of TechOps supply chain application.

    Work on tasks such as preventing incidents with setting up alerts for symptoms.

    Coordinating with multiple teams such as Azure cloud platform, enterprise monitoring tools, enterprise DevOps and IT security teams.

    Building effective monitoring systems with proactive and reactive alerts.

    Build system health dashboards.

    Build end user monitoring dashboards.

    Work with Delivery teams to provide insights into monitoring data.

    Manage deployments and incidents.

    Integrate alerts with notifications engine.


    Requirements & Skills:
    At least 10+ years hands on experience as SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

    Experience with Azure cloud.

    Experience with APM tools Dynatrace SaaS, Mezmo (LogDNA) and Azure native tools.

    Experience building automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines.

    Experience with Github enterprise, Git Actions


    • Nice to Have: Worked as SRE in an environment such as Azure cloud, Angular, GraphQL, Mongo DB, Event hub and Moogsoft (AIOPS)
