    Site Reliability Engineer

    7 months contract to start (potential for CTH)

    Looking for hybrid resources local to Denver or Dallas.

    Summary

    Our client is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong focus on supporting data platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of the financial sector, working on innovative projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies.As an SRE Engineeryour primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of theirdata platforms.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expert-level support for data platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability.
    • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake, with the ability to scale up or down based on business needs.
    • Utilize expertise in airflow to monitor data files and ensure efficient data processing workflows.
    • Work closely with Terraform to implement and manage infrastructure as code, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of data platform resources.

    Qualifications

    • Strong experience as an SRE supporting data platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake, with the ability to scale these platforms up or down.
    • Extensive experience working with Airflow to monitor and optimize data file processing.
    • Solid background in Terraform, with the ability to design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code.
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to data platform reliability and performance.
    • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Strong scripting and programming skills, with proficiency in PowerShell.
