- Supports the Quality Program by performing a combination of related tasks in conformance with quality standards.
- Responsible for inspection, tests, surveillance and quality operations support
- Collects data and enters into appropriate reporting tools.
- Provide quality knowledge to supervisors and manufacturing colleagues as needed.
This hourly role is a part of our plant quality team and reports to the quality supervisor.
Required experience: - Able to train and deliver information to various work groups.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn various computer programs.
- Understanding and strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, statistical process control (SPC), control plans, work instructions, and product layout
- Excellent communication skills as evidenced in colleague relations, team skills, and have the ability to interface directly with the customer to resolve issues.
Working conditions: - While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, product, or equipment.
- The colleague is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms in repairing fixing, welding, or conducting inspection.
- The colleague must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
