Description:
This position is for the 2nd shift C-130 and F-16 Sustainment Programs. The Aircraft Avionics Team Lead
will be responsible for providing status of work
documents and work accomplished in their
assigned work area. The Modification Team Lead
will be required to interface with multiple
functional organizations, in addition to the area
supervisor and crew to resolve issues or
constraints in the aircraft modification
environment. They will be the
intermediary between the aircraft modification
crew and operations supervision, more importantly
provide technical guidance to the crew for the aircraft
modification installation. In this capacity
the lead will status, communicate and support
operation goals and objectives of the day/week,
assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work
assignments, establish expectations of tasks
completion to meet schedule performance goals.
Ensure process integrity to include Safety,
Quality, Schedule & Cost which include but are not
limited to; fall protection, critical moves and crane lifts, use & disposal of hazardous materials, adherence and
use of personal protective equipment (PPE), material
handling and storage of staged and work-in-progress
(WIP) parts, clean as you go, housekeeping,
Tool & Foreign Object Debris (FOD) controls. The
investigations, root cause analysis, advise on
and implement innovations and process
improvements, as well as maintain 6S/lean processes for their area of responsibility.


Basic Qualifications:


8 years of aircraft maintenance experience with a minimum of 4 years combined on F-16, C-130, and other related miliitary/fighter aircraft maintenance experience.


Desired Skills:

4 years of experience in F-16 modifications and/or phase docks.

Experience with Microsoft Office Products

Experience reading and interpreting
engineering drawings and specifications to
provide technical guidance

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.


Clearance Level:
Secret

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
