    Position Summary:

    The Line Cook is responsible for supporting the Head Chef with food preparations and food service in the kitchen at Happy Monkey by Jean-Georges. The position is based out of Greenwich, Connecticut.

    Requirements:

    · High school diploma and/or three years of restaurant experience preferred

    · Past experience in food preparation, including the use of kitchen equipment and of cooking procedures and methods

    · Able to multitask in discrete time periods and to maintain a flexible schedule

    · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    · Works well in a team

    · Attention to cleanliness and health and safety protocols, including knowledge of applicable fire, health, and safety codes, rules, and regulations and enhanced COVID-19 protocols (a Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe Certification is a plus)

    Compensation:

    The base pay range for this position is $20-$22 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.

    Resumen de Posición:

    Requisitos:

    · Se prefiere un diploma de escuela secundaria y/o tres años de experiencia en restaurantes

    · Experiencia previa en la preparación de alimentos, incluido el uso de equipos de cocina y de procedimientos y métodos de cocción.

    · Capaz de realizar múltiples tareas en períodos de tiempo discretos y mantener un horario flexible
